Enrique Morcillo is the new champion of the NEOM Titan Desert Saudi Arabia.

The rider from Ibiza, in his third participation in Titan World Series races, has managed to open a gap with the previous leader, Haimar Zubeldia, in the last kilometres of the stage. Morcillo thus takes the GC of the Saudi adventure.

The Astana team rider from Murcia, Luis León Sánchez, closes his debut in the NEOM Titan Desert Saudi Arabia with a second stage win. On this occasion ‘Luisle’ came in 10 seconds ahead of the rest of the competitors.

At the third checkpoint, Lluís Mas and Luis León Sánchez have opened up a gap of almost a minute on the rest of the leading riders.

The chasing group is made up of the other five riders that were at the front of the peloton: Haimar Zubeldia, Enrique Morcillo, Julen Zubero, Pau Marzà and Pablo Guerrero.

The leader of the women’s GC, Ariadna Ródenas, crosses the second checkpoint of the stage on her own. The rider from Elche has her second win in the GC of the NEOM Titan Desert Saudi Arabia in her pocket.

A group of seven lead the peloton at the second checkpoint of the stage. The two leaders are in the lead: Haimar Zubeldia, Enrique Morcillo, Lluís Mas, Luis León Sánchez, Julen Zubero, Pau Marzà and Pablo Guerrero.

Haimar Zubeldia leads the men’s GC with the same time as Enrique Morcillo.

The tiebreaker will be the order in which the riders enter the finish line. So it’s all up in the air for the last stage. If one of the two wins today’s stage, he will also secure the GC victory.

After three days of loop stages discovering the wonders of the NEOM hinterland (canyons, desert, highlands and mountains), today the stage moves to the coast.

A very similar stage to the one that also ended the last edition of the NEOM Titan Desert Saudi Arabia. Almost 70 kilometres along the Red Sea. A day that promises to provide plenty of images to never forget.

After three days and almost 300 kilometres of effort, the last stage of the NEOM Titan Desert Saudi Arabia starts.

The 200 Titans that started their adventure last Tuesday are facing the last 64 kilometres of the Saudi challenge.

The aim is to cross the finish line at the Athlete’s Village and receive the trophy that accredits them as finishers of the race.
